After a lull in my work schedule, I perked up when I heard that I would travel to New Orleans/Baton Rouge to survey some projects we have there. I was able to stay with Bethany and spend a few extra days in New Orleans and have the rental car throughout the whole thing, [which made everything smooth]. It also happened to be Jazz Fest and Beth’s roomie had an extra cheap ticket so we were all set!

It also happened to be Cinco de Mayo so in true Beth style we made a fabulous fish taco meal with a fresh bean salad and watermelon margaritas to take to this place called ‘ The Fly ‘ where yooves hangout near the Mississippi and picnic while watching barges go by. I couldn’t have spent a better May 5th than that night.
